The Doctor's Strike Back

2026-03-04

I never imagined I'd end up stuck in such a ridiculous, soap-opera-level drama. That day, the consultation room was dead silent until my husband and some young girl barged in out of nowhere. My husband coldly threw me a divorce agreement, while the girl shamelessly showed off her fake pregnancy "achievement." I pulled out his medical checkup report and exposed the truth—he's got severe asthenozoospermia...收起

Chapter 1 of "The Doctor's Strike Back"

The afternoon clinic was so quiet you could hear a heartbeat, with only the scratch of a pen on the medical record cutting through the silence, slowly drifting into the air. "Bang!" The door was slammed open, cold air rushing in with two figures, instantly breaking the quiet in the room. I looked up and spotted who had just walked in. It was Mason Young, my husband for five years. His left arm was tightly wrapped around a young girl wearing a loose white dress, her hand gently resting on her belly. When her eyes glanced at me, they shone with undisguised pride, like a bird that just took over someone else's nest. "Sign this." Mason tossed a neatly folded piece of paper onto my desk, his voice cold as ice in the dead of winter, completely without any warmth. I lowered my head, my eyes landing on that paper. The two bold characters 'Divorce agreement' stabbed painfully at my eyes. "Cindy, you should be more sensible." The girl stepped forward two paces, her voice sickeningly sweet, like it was coated in thick syrup, 'Mason said he's got a thing for virgins, been with you for five years and never even touched you.' I looked up at Mason Young, trying to find any sign of objection in his eyes, but he just frowned and impatiently pushed, "Hurry up and sign, don't waste Fiona's and my time." "If I hadn't gotten pregnant with Mason's kid, he wouldn't be such a headache." Fiona gently rubbed her belly, her tone dripping with pride, like she was flaunting some rare treasure. "You've been infertile for five years, still sitting in Mrs. Young's spot—don't you feel any shame?" "I'll talk to my parents, no need for you to worry." Mason added with a smug, condescending tone, "After the divorce, I'll give you an apartment—enough for you to live comfortably for the rest of your life." I didn't say a word. I pulled out a medical report from the drawer and slowly pushed it in front of him. "Take a look at this first." Mason glanced at it casually, but his face instantly drained pale, his voice shaking, "What is this? Severe asthenozoospermia? Cindy Scott, are you forging this report to frame me?" "I'm an OB-GYN, not some fake doctor." I tapped the report lightly with my finger, my voice calm but deadly serious, leaving no room for doubt. "You can get retested at any top hospital. Sperm motility at A and B levels below 15%—this is a clear medical diagnosis. It can't be faked." "You're talking nonsense!" Fiona suddenly screamed, grabbing Mason's arm so hard her nails almost dug into his skin. "Mason, she's just jealous because I'm carrying your child, and she made up this lie to smear you!" "Cindy Scott, you really disappoint me." Mason crushed the report into a ball and threw it on the floor with force. The crumpled paper made a faint noise as it hit the ground. "Fiona is carrying my flesh and blood, and yet you stoop to such vile tricks to ruin me?" "Even if there's something wrong with me, this child still has to be mine!" He stepped forward, both hands pressed down on the clinic desk, leaning in, his eyes filled with obsession. "The Young Family can't be left without an heir. Don't even think about stopping me!" I stared at his flushed face, feeling a cold chill inside, completely unmoved. "I'm not stopping you, I'm just stating the facts." "Shut up!" Mason Young yelled furiously, veins bulging on his forehead, his anger scorching everything around.
