Though Huaijin rescues her father and burns Zhongcun’s opium stash, the villain frames Huaijin for her father’s murder. Yunchu pretends to fall for the deception, luring Zhongcun into a trap where she and Huaijin turn the tables, handing him over to anti-Japanese forces. In the end, Yunchu and Huaijin shed all misunderstandings, their love and vengeance both fulfilled.
